General Provisions Signs and Road Marking Part 2
Signs and markings serve as regulatory, warning, guide traffic. In order to function effectively signs, the placement of each sign shall: (1) meet the requirements, (2) gave the order to be careful, (3) give an explanation, (4) gave the order to be observed by road users, (5) provide sufficient time to respond. Signs are also part of the road that serves to regulate the smooth traffic, prevent accidents, as the necessary information for road users, and facilitate the users a way to achieve this goal. Sign contains a clear message and a light, firm but brief and easily understood by the public.
