In general the roads meet in one area; Junctions of this kind could serve the composition of the continuous flow of traffic and turned, only to a certain extent. According to its shape, can be distinguished as follows.

b. Four-pronged intersection (the intersection of four)
c. Branched junction (more than four)
d. Roundabout (rotary intersection)

Each of these intersections can be:
a. Common intersection (unchannelized)
b. Intersection with the addition of lanes (flared)
c. Crossroads with lane dividers (channelized)
