Sequence signal lights in force in various countries is not always the same. United States and Britain have a different sequence of lights. Sequence traffic signal lights in the U.S. are: red-green-yellow (amber)-red, while in the UK order: red-red + yellow (amber)-green-yellow-red. On this sequence, between the red and green lights lit red and yellow (amber) together.
